Marjorie's Wake
Jennifer Chase will join the two-woman river journey in our documentary film
"In Marjorie's Wake." The film, which retraces the real life journey of
Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings on the St. Johns, also examines the inextricable ways
in which the landscape can shape culture. Chase, an educator, musician, and
playwright from Jacksonville, will partner with Leslie Poole, who teaches in
the Environmental Studies program at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. We
have a PBS presenting station for national distribution and are now in the
final stages of fund raising through our non-profit company. For more info,
